Studio Binder is a digital platform a few of my clients use in production for managing stuff like call sheets, contact list, script breakdowns, shooting schedules, tasks, calendars and files. It’s a one stop shop for production companies to essentially get rid of the paper that we all get on a regular basis.

A Bates Stamp is a piece of equipment that is used by courts and lawyers to stamp documents. We have adopted its use in our office for tagging papers and documents that are submitted – they assign a discreet or unique ID to each document.
The best way to reconcile your petty cash is to go through all your receipts and start by adding up the value of all the receipts that you will be putting into an envelope. Then tape the receipts onto 8.5” x 11” paper so they can be put inside a PC envelope.
I can assure crew members who receive petty cash or who get a check that needs to be converted into petty cash that it is not a taxable event.
